Welcome
to the home page of Adventures in Crime & Space, offering
Austin's finest selection of new and used science fiction,
mystery and horror books. Our store is named in honor of
the classic SF anthology, Adventures in Time and Space.
We
were located on West 6th Street for 7 and a half years,
but we lost our lease. In the meantime, we are available
by appointments, online and at conventions.
Our temporary location is on Norris Drive, near Zilker Park.

Lisa
Greene
Lisa is the majority owner of Adventures in Crime &
Space. She is a champion poodle owner and one of her beautiful
dogs, Flynn, is shown to the left. Her favorite authors
incude Dick Francis, Lois McMaster Bujold and Chelsea Quinn
Yarbro. |

Willie
Siros
Willie is the owner/manager of the store. He has been selling
books at SF and mystery conventions for close to 31 years.
He once had the pleasure of talking to Stephen King in a
bar for an hour without even realizing who it was. His specialty
is rare books. Willie's favorite authors include J.G. Ballard,
Iain Banks, Nevada Barr, Storm Constantine, George C. Chesbro,
John Crowley, Sparkle Hayter, Ursula K. Le Guin, Jack Vance,
and Gene Wolfe. |

Scott
A. Cupp
Scott is a minority owner and was Willie's partner in the
years of Two Guys from Texas Booksellers before the opening
of the store. He has been writing Science Fiction professionally
for a long time and frequently travels as a guest to conventions.
Scott's tastes in reading are very similar to Willie's,
which is why they get along so well. He lives with his lovely
and funny wife, Sandi, in Central Texas. |

Nina
Siros
Nina is a minority owner of the store and Willie's younger,
but prettier, sister. She has been a frequenter of SF and
mystery conventions for close to 30 years. She once almost
accidentally knocked Stephen King over as she was rounding
a corner at an ABA convention. Her specialty is mystery
novels, but she also enjoys those that have a romance thrust
into them. Among her favorite authors are Elizabeth Peters,
Bruce Alexander, Nancy Atherton, Susan Wittig Albert and
traditionals and cozies galore. |
